A Lazy Day
We've had an amazing day hanging out with friends and family up here at Baylor. It's a blessing for Jax to get to join the world like this.

Night One
We had a pretty fun night together. Jax hung out with us for quite a bit of it. And he got a nice bath sometime in the middle of the night. I don't really know what all went on. Below is a pic of the bed I made for myself. Significantly better than the fold out chair thing from last time.

A Funny
So when they put Becca on the stretcher-bed to wheel her up to our new room, the nurse asked another nurse to come over and help her push the bed.
When they new nurse came over she said, "Oh, is this the crazy one?!?"
And the first nurse said, "Yep, it's the crazy one!"
And I was thinking, "Seriously, was Becca that nuts in the delivery room?"
And then the first nurse realized how that sounded, and she said, "Oh, ha ha! No! We're talking about the stretcher-bed!"
Hahahahaha!
Apparently the bed Becca was on has been acting weird this week, so they had been calling it the crazy one!
Thumb in mouth
Post Times
I updated the time zone for the time stamps on the posts, so now you can see what times things were really happening. Sorry about that!
Family Time
The three of us are alone now. Enjoying some family time and praying for little Jax. Join me in praying for him right now - that he will grow up to fear and serve the Lord. Rebecca is also nursing him a little bit now too.
He's here!
That was way fast! 8lbs. 12oz. ; 21 3/4 in.! Quite a bit bigger than his brother was! I'll post pics soon. Mom and baby are doing great!!!
A Note on the Polls
If you would like to be more specific about what you think Jax's weight will be, leave a comment on this post. You may just win a prize!
What!?!
10 Centimeters!?! Are you kidding me?!? That was way fast. Water is broken. Now we're waiting for Jax to come down a little bit. Dr. Monti is here and in control!
We're in!
Whoa! That was crazy! Becca started having some contractions about 8:00 this morning at McDonald's. They got pretty intense, so about 10:15 we made our way to Baylor. At 11:00am, they said let's get going! She was 5cm when we got here, and she's already had an epidural. We're feeling good and waiting for step 2. I'll keep you posted!
